Hi friend, I’m Jaime. And I am so glad you’re here. I make things on Darkinjung land, on the Central Coast of New South Wales.
Making objects is how I play nature and the magic of unintended consequences. I also run ceramic workshops to celebrate big life moments.
Every ceramic piece is literally made of the Earth. I also love using materials like gum nuts and twigs to create textures that aren’t quite in my control.
My pieces are in reverence to the many sides of nature — her power, her age, her beauty, and the unstoppable cycles of growth, life and death.
I am the daughter and granddaughter of potters. Raeburn is my middle name, and also the name of my grandmother — a ceramic artist who kept creating for her entire life.
